Pan Roasted Maple-Orange Chicken
A simple to prepare pan roasted chicken with a delicious maple-orange glaze.
Maple Orange Chicken
Ingredients
2 tablespoons oil
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1-1/2 teaspoons grated orange peelDirections
Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat until hot. Add chicken; cook 6 minutes on each side or until fork tender (160°F. on meat thermometer). In a small bowl, combine water, syrup, soy sauce, vinegar, and orange peel; mix well. Pour over chicken; cook 1 minute turning chicken to coat. 4 servings.TIP: For best results, use real maple syrup.
