Simple Lemon Poached Salmon
Simple to prepare salmon steaks with a delicate lemon flavor.
Lemon Poached Salmon
Ingredients
4 cups water
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 lemon, sliced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 (6-ounce) fresh or frozen salmon steaks, thawedDirections
Combine water, onions, lemon slices salt and pepper in a large skillet. Bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors. Add salmon. Cover; simmer 7 to 10 minutes or until salmon flakes easily with fork. Transfer salmon to serving platter; garnish with lemon wedges and fresh dill sprigs if desired. 4 servings.
