Soy-Ginger Grilled Salmon
Well, I’m back from Alaska and although I didn’t get any fishing in, I do have a recipe to try. Salmon marinated in an Asian inspired marinade, then cooked up on the grill.
Soy-Ginger Grilled Salmon
Salmon
4 (4 to 6 oz. each) Salmon steaks or filletsMarinade
1/4 cup peanut oil
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoon chopped green onions
1-1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (or more to taste)
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1/8 teaspoon saltDirections
Place salmon steaks in a large dish. In medium bowl, whisk together all marinade ingredients; pour over salmon. Cover salmon with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours, turning once during marinade time.Heat grill and coat rack with oil or cooking spray.
Remove salmon from marinade; discard marinade. Place salmon on prepared grill 4 to 6 inches from heat. Grill for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork or until desired degree of doneness, turning once halfway through cook time. 4 servings.
